One plan, several tools
An investment strategy isn't a product — it's the order you do things in. Which debt comes down first, what gets bought and when, how it's structured, and what each decision costs or saves you over twenty years. We build that plan with you, and we stay with you while it plays out.
Most of our clients get there through direct property. It's what we know inside out, it's where our own network and experience sit, and for someone on an ordinary income it's usually the tool that moves the needle furthest. So that's where we start — and it's the part of your plan we handle ourselves, end to end.
The core strategy — property investment
Property, approached like a business rather than a hot tip: a considered long-term plan, the right property for your income and goals, and a portfolio that can carry a stable income into retirement. Our property specialist network brings years of experience to help you make an informed, long-term decision — and there are three new-build structures we build most often, each with its own detail.
The rest of the plan
Property rarely sits on its own. Super, shares and the cover that protects the whole plan all have a part to play, and your strategy has to account for them — which is not the same as us advising on them.
Freedom Strategy Management does not provide financial product advice and does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence.
Shares, managed funds, superannuation, SMSFs and insurance are financial products. Where they belong in your plan,
we coordinate with an appropriately licensed adviser — they give the advice, we make sure it fits the strategy.
The descriptions below are general information about areas we work alongside, not recommendations to acquire any product.
Shares, ETFs & managed funds
Where listed investments form part of your plan, a licensed adviser takes that piece — we make sure the timing and the structure line up with everything else.
Superannuation & SMSF
Super is most people's second-largest asset, and an SMSF is a more complex path with real obligations. Both are areas for a licensed adviser; our role is coordination.
Insurance & protection
A long-term plan assumes the income behind it keeps arriving. Cover is what protects that assumption, and it is arranged through a licensed adviser.
Who does what
We do the strategy, the coordination, the education and the property. Licensed advisers do the financial product advice. You get one plan, and you always know who is responsible for which part.
Just as much of what we do is teaching. We show you how the numbers actually work, why a strategy is put together the way it is, and what each decision costs or saves you, so you are never taking anyone's word for it — ours included.
